Nellie Gray Botkin

Mrs. Nellie Gay Botkin, 73, of Moyers, WV, died Wednesday evening, September 7, 1988 in Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 12, 1915 at Moyers, a daughter of Pat and Sybilla (Kee) Hoover.

Mrs. Botking was a member of Totten United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Glen Botkin Sr., died November 2, 1979.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Martha Kimble of Moyers, three sons, Glen Jr. of McDowell, Va., Jerry of Blue Grass, Va. , and Galen Botkin of Moyers; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Revs. Steve McMillion and Lowell Stovall. Burial will be in the Totten Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will  be Bryon Judy, Arlie McQuain, Robert Armstrong, Jeffrey and Philip Rader Jr. and Paul Bennett.

The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in McDowell.
