Paul Scott

Paul "Keith" Scott, 66, of the Mill Gap Community of Highland County, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 at his home. He was born May 3, 1947 in Greenville, SC a son of the late Lester and Lucile (Hanchey) Scott. Since the mid 1970's, Mr. Scott operated the Mill Gap Supply Store. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Green Hill United Methodist Church; past member of Mill Gap Ruritan Club and former DJ at WVLS. Mr. Scott will be remembered as a community storyteller. He was a very patriotic man, who loved his country and its people. He is survived by his wife, LuAnne Scott of Monterey; his sister, Rebecca Houghton of Weatherford, TX; his brother, Cyril Scott of Dillwyn and goddaughter, Dawn Beale Winters. Additionally, his beloved pets, Molly and Bebe also survive. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Highland SPCA, P.O.
