Pauline Mae Botkin

Pauline Mae Botkin, 57, of Head Waters passed away Tuesday morning, July 17, 1990 at her home.

She was born September 6, 1932 at Doe Hill, a daughter of Denver C. and Nora (Armstrong) Simmons.

She was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church/

Her husband, William Harlan Botkin, Sr., died January 14, 1969.

In addition to her mother of Mt. Sidney, she is survived by a daughter, Betty Bodkin of Moyers, WV; son, Harlan Botkin Jr. of Head Waters; two sisters, Shirley Armstrong of Charlottesville and Leona Crummett of Mt. Sidney; brother, Ralph Simmons of Staunton; and three grandchildren.

A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Steve McMillion, with burial in Crummett Run Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dennis and Eddie Botkin, Nelson Simmons, Clyde Puffenbarger and John and Gary Rexrode.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. tonight at the funeral home in McDowell and at any time at the residence.
