Ralph Roberts

Ralph Edward Roberts, 49, of Burnsville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at University of Virginia Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 11, 1963 at Bath Community Hospital, a son of the late Lacy Lee and Jean Audrey Burns Roberts.

He was baptized and affiliated with Burnsville United Methodist Church. He was owner and operator of Roberts Cable Service and an accomplished mechanic. He enjoyed time spent riding his Harley, and will be remembered as having a big heart.

A truly beloved brother and uncle, he is survived by four sisters, Betty Lockridge and Connie Hammer, both of Burnsville; Nancy Colvin and Theresa Beall, both of Hot Springs; his brother, Jeff Roberts of Hot Springs; seven nieces; four nephews; a number of great-nieces and great-nephews; and his special pet, Flash.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a special pet, Rascal.

A funeral service was conducted at Obaugh Funeral Home on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Lorrie Aikens and Pastor Donald Lee Altizer officiating.

Burial was at Burnsville Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Chris Stanley, Jay Cook, Curtis and Anthony Lockridge, Jayme Roberts, Jeremy Allen, Billy Pritt and Barry Marshall.

Honorary pallbearers were friends attending the service.
