Rebecca Lynn “Becky” (Robertson) Pleasant, age 39, of Bath County, was welcomed peacefully into her heavenly home on Sunday, August 3, 2025, surrounded by love ones.
She was born April 11, 1986, a daughter of Glenn and Sherrill (Collins) Robertson of Williamsville. Throughout her life, Rebecca dedicated herself to caregiving, extending her dedication not just to the elderly, but also to the youth she came in contact with. Her commitment to children was most evident as a Sunday school teacher at Starr Chapel Community Church. Her heart’s biggest joy was found in spending time with her children and her daddy working on farm chores, playing cards, or simply drinking a cup of coffee on the porch with him while in the company of her children.
She was predeceased by her sister, Carla Jean Robertson; paternal grandparents, Ardie and Charlie Robertson; maternal grandmother, Teresa Collins; and brother-in-law, Wayne Keyser.
In addition to her parents, Becky is survived by her loving husband, Brandon Michael Pleasant of Covington; her daughters, Emily Robertson and Breannalyn Pleasant; her son, Joseph Pleasant; brothers, Michael Robertson and wife, Brittany of Covington, Joshua “Blue” Robertson and wife, Kelsey of Hot Springs, Kevin Robertson and wife, Shawna of Weston, WV, Shawn Robertson of Covington, and Brandon Thomas of Lexington; sisters, Teresa (Robertson) Keyser of Williamsville and Annie (Robertson) Oyler and husband, Colton of Millboro; maternal grandfather, Ronald Collins and wife, Carrie Jo of Caret; sister-in-law, Jackie Ferrell and husband, Chris of Covington; In-laws, Audie and Shawnda Sloan of Leslie, WV; the ones she held closest to her heart calling her Aunt Becky, are nieces and nephews, Madison, Ryan, Emily, William, Zoey, Chloe, Cheyenne, Ashleigh, Karter, Ryleigh, Carleen, Emi, Benjamin, Aza, and Aiden; as well as her great nephew, Armani.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Starr Chapel Community Church with speaker Myrna Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Jacob Cleek Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers include Caiden Offer, Jacob McCombs, Kenny Little, Colton Oyler, Michael Robertson, Joshua Robertson, Kevin Robertson, and Shawn Robertson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Joseph Pleasant and Ryan Robertson.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church, as well as during a meal of fellowship at the Bolar Ruritan Club building following the committal service.
