Roy Reamey

September 11, 1928 — September 2, 2006

Roy Roger Reamey, age 77, of Monterey, died Saturday, September 2, 2006 at Augusta Medical Center.  He was born September 11, 1928 a son of the late Fleming Marvin and Harriet (Farrar) Reamey.  On August 9, 1969, he married Ethel Mae Wimer.  Mr. Reamey was preceded in death by two brothers, Ned Reamey and Marvin Midcift; two sisters, Ruth Daniel and Gertrude Franklin.  Mr. Reamey was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Mr. Reamey was a member as well as a deacon of The Church of God in Blue Grass.  He also retired from Butler Lumbar Company.

Mr. Reamey is survived by his wife of 37 years, who resides in Monterey; a daughter, Alice Marie (Reamey) Huff of Monterey; a granddaughter, Cheyenne Huff of Monterey and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at the Blue Grass Cemetery by Pastor Harvey Anders.

The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Ethel Reamey in Monterey.
