Russel Brown
March 17, 1945 — February 11, 2000
Russel Patrick Brown, 54, died, Friday 11, 2000 at the VA Medical Center in Salem.
He was born March 17, 1945, a son of Fannie (Bishop) Brown of Monterey.
He was a Richmond city fireman. He served in the Air Force and the Army during the Vietnam era.
Survivors include a daughter, Juanita Casson of Ashland; a sister Betty Brown Konvicka of King William; and a niece Rebecca Lam of King William.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Clover Creek Cemetery by the Rev. Lester LaPrade.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Obaugh Funeral Home.
