Russell Henry Moyers, 77, of Churchville and formerly of McDowell died Tuesday afternoon, November 15, 1988 at Shenandoah Valley Health Care Center, Buena Vista.
He was born June 22, 1911 at Pendleton County, WV, a son of William B. and Carrie (Simmons) Moyers.
His wife, Janie (Botkin) Moyers, died March 26, 1962.
Survivors include a brother, Quinten Moyers of Moyers, WV; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. R.E. Pleasants, with burial in Head Waters Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Obaugh, Ben Alred, Bobby and Ricky Moyers, Dale and Dennis botkin and Garry Malcom.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 Thursday at the funeral home in McDowell.
