Sharon Warden

Sharon Lee Warden, 64, of Staunton, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 at Shenandoah House.

She was born Sept. 12, 1946 in Alexandria, a daughter of the late Charles and Frances Berry Lane.

She had worked as an administrative assistant at a telecommunication company. She loved her family and enjoyed music, dancing, cooking and old movies.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelley and Mark Marshall of Grottoes and Marcie and Keith Bruckschen of Haymarket; four grandchildren, Heather Bosserman and husband, Matthew, Melody Marshall, and Zachary and Logan Bruckschen; a great-granddaughter, Elina Bosserman; three sisters, Joyce Schaffer and Charlotte Robertson, both of San Diego, Calif., and Linda Lane of Pensacola, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Louis George Warden III, and three sisters, Rosemary Lane, Virginia Seal and Nancy Cutler.

A graveside service was conducted 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 12, 2011 in Williamsville Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Brunson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shenandoah House, 111 N. Campus Lane, Fishersville, Va. 22939.
