Shirley Hill

Shirley Lorraine Hill, 71,  of Monterey, died Saturday, July 11, 1998 at her residence.

She was born July 21, 1927, a daughter of George and Mary (Ashton) Hall.

She was a salesperson in radio at Virginia Beach for a number of years and a member of the Word of Faith Church.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Lee and James Ashton Hall.

She is survived by a son, M.W. "Chip" Hill Jr. of Mill Gap; a daughter Pam Lambert of Monterey; and six grandchildren.

A service will be held July 19 at 2 p.m. at the Word of Faith Church. The body will be cremated.
