Steaven DeWayne Lindsay, 50, of Warm Springs, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at UVA Hospital.
He was born in Hot Springs, September 24, 1972, a son of Sharon Gail (Duncan) Lindsay of Warm Springs and the late Jerry Lewis Lindsay.
Always an amazing uncle, Steaven enjoyed traveling, playing cards and gaming with his nephews and never missed an opportunity to attend their sporting events. Additionally, he loved to cook and spend time on the golf course. An ardent fan of the Atlanta Braves and Carolina Tar Heels, he enjoyed jokingly trash-talking any other team. He was a member of Virginia Chapel United Methodist Church. “Bubba,” as he was known by his nephews, will be remembered as a loving and involved uncle and brother; as well as for the special relationship he held with this mother.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Cheryl Lindsay Milton and husband, Dan of Covington; his two very special nephews, Ben and Zach Milton of Covington; several aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as his many special friends.
A celebration of life will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Virginia Chapel United Methodist Church with Chris Fisher officiating. Family will receive friends following the service at a meal of fellowship.
