Stelman Simmons
August 21, 1927 — August 28, 2002
Stelman C. Simmons, 75, died Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at the Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born August 21, 1927, at Sugar Grove, W.Va. to William Luther and Myra Alice Mitchell Simmons. He was retired as an orderly from King’s Daughters’ Hospital.
Mr. Simmons was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Francis Oland.
Survivors include three sisters, Leota Wilson of Ladylake, Fla., Doris Willett of Merritt Island, Fla., and Peggy Renner of Funkstown, Md.; three brothers, Norman Simmons of Franklin, W.Va., Herman Simmons of Hinton and Sheldon Simmons of Bridgewater.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
