Uhl Lawton Graham

Uhl Lawton Graham, 91, died Tuesday evening (April 23, 1991) at Springs Nursing Center, Hot Springs.

He was born March 4, 1900 in Highland County, a son of George Thomas and Susan Catherine (Hamilton) Graham.

He was a member of McDowell United Methodist Church and was a carpenter and builder.

His first wife, Anna Lee (Jones) Graham, died in 1965.

Survivors include his wife, Nannie Catherine Graham of Hot Springs; a half-sister, Lucy Mae Folks of Burnsville; sister-in-law, Leila Graham of Westminster, Md; five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Billy and Ned Graham.

A service was conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Revs. Lester LaPrade and Steve McMillion, with burial at Clover Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers were James Armstrong, Randall B., Robert C., Robert L., Ronald U., David E., Edward A. and Jack H. Shaw and Charles Watson.
