Viola Frances Armstrong, 99, a residents of Pendleton Nursing Home, passed away Monday morning, June 19, 1989 at Franklin.
She was born October 30, 1889 at Moyers, WV, a daughter of J. Riley and Hannah (Simmons) Armstrong.
Formerly of Washington, DC, she was a retired Civil Service employee.
Survivors include a sister, Louie J. Kavanaugh of Pendleton Nursing Home; one brother, Dice S. Armstrong or Orem, Utah; and several nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday in the St. Paul Cemetery near Moyers, WV by the Rev. Norman Nilsen.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
