Viola Flippin

Viola Grace Flippin, 80, formerly of Monterey, Va., died Sunday, January 27, 2002.

She was born July 16, 1921 at Monterey, a daughter of Arlie M. and Lura Wimer Jack.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles Porter Flippin, who died June 11, 1984.

Surviving are four daughters, Nellie O’Neil of Severn, Betty S. Lascola, Linda L. Schumaker and Cathy L. Wilt, all of Baltimore Highalnds; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be at 11 a .m. Friday in Blue Grass Cemetery, with the Rev. Larry Turner presiding.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Obaugh Funeral Home.
