Virgie M. Arbogast

Virgie May Arbogast, 92, of Millboro passed away Tuesday, May 15, 1990 at the home of her daughter, Elsie Chapman.

She was born August 24, 1896 at Cherry Grove, WV, a daughter of Solomon and Catherine (Lambert) Mick.

On October 14, 1912 she was married to Cleve Arbogast, who died March 20, 1984.

She was a member of Lockridge Memorial United Methodist Church.

She was the last survivor of her immediate family.

Survivors include two other daughters, Elizabeth Huffman of Millboro and Virginie Hise of Hightown; a son, Delton Arbogast of Monterey; 21 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.

A service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday by the Revs. C. William Cox and Leslie Napier at Obaugh Funeral Home, McDowell, with burial at Green Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Goshen Rescue Squad or Highland County Rescue Squad.
