William Bradley

MONTEREY, VA William Marian Bradley, 57, of Monterey, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 at his home. He was born August 27, 1958 in Baltimore, MD a son of Ida Faye Bradley Weese of Fredericksburg. A truck driver by trade, he also worked many years painting with his best friend, Dennis Kincaid. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army. Wally enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all he loved to spend time with his children, his proudest accomplishments. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Nancy Lee (Toeniskoetter) Bradley, whom he married September 22, 1984; daughter, Sarah Marie Bradley and Phillip Wimer of Broadway; son, Curtis Allen Bradley of Johnson City, TN; three sisters, Lee Lunora Doyle of Monterey, Linda Dawn Liptrap of Clifton Forge and Sherry Elizabeth Wolfe of Monterey. His father and mother-in-law, Robert Lee and Mary Ellen Toeniskoetter, a number of aunts, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Lunora Bradley. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Stonewall Ruritan Building in McDowell with the Pastor Chip Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Jacob Cleek Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Curtis Bradley, Phillip Wimer, Cole Smith, Michael Sweeney, Joey Cuento, Paul Cauley, Jr., Johnny Perry and Charles "Chuck" Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Hiner, Charles Smith, Dennis Kincaid, Joey Liptrap and countless friends. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Stonewall Ruritan Building. Additionally, Obaugh Funeral Home will receive those wishing to pay their respects throughout the day and into the evening on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to Jacob Cleek Cemetery, John A. Lindsay IV, 1179 Poor Farm Rd, Warm Springs, VA 24484.
