William C. Will, 73, died Monday (May 13, 1991) at his residence.
He was born July 31, 1997 in Blue Grass, a son of William P. and Lola Montez (Newman) Will.
He married Alice Harper on Dec. 21, 1946.
He was a member of Wayside Baptist Church, and served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific Theatre, was a member of Highland VFW Post No. 4989 and was a retired mail carrier and farmer.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Joy W. Ashlin of Midlothian; four sons, William B., Jimmy J., Jackie W., and Joseph W. Will, all of Blue Grass; two sisters, Isabell Hartless of Staunton and Genoa Ezzell of Akron, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.
A service was conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Blue Grass Cemetery by Pastor Robert Arnold.
Pallbearers were Randolph Wagner, Herman Puffenbarger, George Colaw, Lanny Wimer, Douglas Gutshall, Ronnie Moyers, Robert Marshall and Bill Colaw.
