William Stuart Moats

William Stuart Moats, 58, of Waynesboro formerly of Highland County, was found dead Wednesday, March 27, 1991 at his residence.

He was born May 18, 1932 in Pendleton County, WV, a son of William Roy and Laura Ann (Botkin) Moats.

He worked for Yancey Mill Lumber Company at Crozet for a number of years.

He is survived by three sisters,

Zula Chestnut of Staunton, Mary Nesselrodt of Petersburg, WV and Catherine Leach of Dayton; and a brother, Samuel Moats of Pasadena, MD.

A service will be conducted 3 p.m. today in Head Waters Cemetery by the Rev. Steve McMillion, with visitation from 1-2 p.m. at Obaugh Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
