Wretha Carlton Burns

 Wreatha Carlton "Tott" Burns, 76, of Staunton and formerly of Highland County, died Tuesday night, March 27, 1990 at Seaford, DE.

She was born September 3, 1913 in Highland County, a daughter of James William and George (Devericks) Ervine.

Her husband, Homer F. Burns, died May 10, 1968.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Woodmen of the World, and was a retired photographer.

She is survived by a daughter, Jeane Benson of Seaford, DE; son, William Burns of Crozet; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Lester LaPrade, with burial in Head Waters Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
