Zelma Jane Wimer

Zelma Jane Wimer, 49, of Monterey passed away Tuesday, August 15, 1989 in Pendleton County, WV, as a result of a car accident.

She was born July 19, 1940 at Mustoe, a daughter of Jake and Elva (Hamilton) Gutshall.

She attended Victory Chapel Advent Christian Church.

Her husband, Ronald D. Wimer, died September 9, 1979.

She was employed at the Highland Inn and the Rockingham Cooperative Farm Bureau.

In addition to her mother of Staunton, she is survived by three sons, Ronald, Steven and Kevin Wimer, all of Monterey; a sister, Ruth Halterman of Staunton; and a brother, Marvin Gutshall of Richmond. 

A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Obaugh Funeral HOme by the Revs. Jerry Ginn and Norman Compton, with burial in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Hilbert, Garland Carpenter, Dallas Doyle, Byron Gutshall, James Hiner and Rodney Chestnut.

The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in McDowell.
