Ann Lockridge

February 9, 1917 — December 19, 1995

Ann M. Lockridge, 78, of Williamsville, died on Tuesday, December 19, 1995 at Bath County Community Hospital.

She was born on February 9, 1917 at Williamsville, a daughter of Robert Glendye and Janie Belle (Ervine) McClintic.

She was a member of Williamsville Presbyterian Church and taught Sunday School. She operated Williamsville Store. She was a member of the Historic Society, CAR, BPW, Eastern Star, Home Demonstrations Club, Highland Women's Club and the Garden Club.

Her husband, Leo Lockridge, preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Robert C. and John E. Lockridge, both of Williamsville; a sister Rebecca Tankersley of Millboro; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Williamsville Presbyterian Church by the Revs. Rob Sherrad and Larry Bunson, with burial at McClintic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Charles Davis McCormick, Brad Mawyer, Randolph Hodge, Jack Williams, Ron Vault, Bud Coursey, Gerald Bardett and Bunny Kincaid.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at Obaugh Funeral Home.
