Paul Harold

April 21, 1926 — December 30, 1994

Paul Kerns Harold, 68, of Staunton, died December 30, 30, 1934, at his home.

Mr. Harold was born April 21, 1926, at Valley Center and was a son of the late Robert L. and Beulah Hull Harold.

He was a member of Green Hill United Methodist Church and attended Annex United Methodist Church in Staunton. He was a two-year Navy veteran of World War II and had served in the European and Pacific Theaters.

Mr. Harold graduated from Monterey High School and attended Woodrow Wilson Vo-Tech for one year. He had been employed as a truck driver for 32 years and retired from Smith's Transfer.

On January 4, 1944, he married Marjorie Hensley, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Rita H. Pullin, Charlottesville, and Sheila H. Davis, Staunton; one son, Randolph W. Harold, Monterey; one brothers, Robert Lee Harold Jr., Staunton; four sisters, Sue H. Harris, Rittman, Ohio, Thelma Marie Jones, Waynesboro, Shirley H. Gutshall, Staunton, and Rebecca H. Lightner, Monterey; five grandsons, Robert C. Pullin, Staunton, Jason S. and K. Lee Harold of Warrenton, Wade Harold II of Monterey and Dick D. Davis of Staunton; two granddaughters, Victoria D. Harold of Martinsburg, WV and Heather Harold of Monterey; one great-grandson, Jacob C. Pullin, Staunton.

He is preceded in death by a son, Paul Kenton Harold, brother, William R. Harold; and two sisters, Elsie Harold and Irene Wysong.

The Revs. Kay Marsh and Robert Haley will conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. Sunday at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell. Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Harold home at any time and 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
